Members of our collegiate recovery program participate in a number of social and fun events to help build connection in our community. Meadowview Recovery Residence provides a home-like setting for individuals to transition from institutional care to independent living in the community. The home is recovery-focused and designed so that all basic needs are met. People who live here have the opportunity to participate, learn, and experience living in a safe, caring environment. We believe all people seeking recovery-based housing should have access to both a safe and accommodating residence where they can live a healthy and rewarding life. The Oregon Recovery Residences Registry is a free to use service aimed at providing up-to-date information on recovery housing in Oregon. This website is driven entirely by agencies and recovery residence operators.

The Recovery Residence at Hogan Hall is a unique residential opportunity for Saint Joseph’s students in active recovery to live in a supportive community environment, all while maintaining their academic life on Hawk Hill. This innovative effort is the first-of-its-kind in the Philadelphia region and serves as the centerpiece of Saint Joseph’s collegiate recovery program, offering support for every facet of a student’s residential experience.

Language Assistance

The State of Maryland pledges to recovery residence constituents, businesses, customers, and stakeholders with friendly and courteous, timely and responsive, accurate and consistent, accessible and convenient, and truthful and transparent services. DoIT uses Google Translate to provide language translations of its content.

Diversity within the continuum is important, because recovery is a process. Individuals need various types and levels of support at different stages of recovery. Matching an individual with the appropriate level of support is both recovery supportive and cost-effective.

Maryland Certification of Recovery Residences

https://ecosoberhouse.com/ Houseis a 47-year old model for democratically self-governing, financially self-supporting recovery residences for individuals with substance use disorders. They are gender-specific homes with no time limit on residency which allows for the development of long-term sobriety. They operate in compliance with the requirements of the Oxford House Charter and System of Operations found in the Oxford House Manual. Oxford Houses do not have resident staff managing the individual houses however the model includes training and oversight from the local network of houses and state association, along with technical assistance from Virginia outreach workers. The system encourages the development of leadership skills and self-efficacy and allows residents to learn or relearn values and responsible recovery behavior. Oxford House’s uniquely peer-supportive model has a long record of requiring its houses to meet high-quality standards.
